The second was on that nook above where the spiders come in. The first was at the top left of the lake, I made it an arcane archers near the end burst arrows. The third was put above the left Faery Dragon Aerie, doesn't really matter what you make this one. The second was on the top right of the lake, made it an arch-mage, improved the sentinel ability. The first was placed on the lower left, next to the crystals I made this one a wild magus- only improved the insta-kill ability. Make it a fully upgraded Arch Druid, use bears to support barracks. Put a druid on the right side of the second path that opens up.

Put them down the same path at first, and then move one to cover the other path when it opens. Use barracks on the bottom of the lake (not the outer areas), right next to each other. The game is not a terrible grind if you progress through the story and come back with better heroes and more upgrades. Personally I don't hink that the game should be designed in a way that every setup would be valid to reach 3 stars with few tower upgrades and low level heroes. So you definitely should be able to beat this level on normal with the stars you get till this point. This was enough to beat the level with with 3 stars but IIRC I got away with 18 lives.

Now for the last run I upgraded each category again, so two points for each upgrade line.

This allowed me to beat the level with 2 stars, at one point of the stage Xin went from Lv.7 to Lv.8 but I didn't invested his new skillpoints for the run after that. I couldn't beat the level and I believe around wave ~10 I got overrun.įor the second run I upgraded the five different categories once. My first try was with no upgrades whatsoever and Lv.7 Xin as a hero, which I used because I wanted a crap hero to make it even more difficult. Now my hero was Arivan at Lv.7 and I had done several (not all) hero/iron challenges before that which allowed me to have more upgrades at this point.īecause of his complaints I wanted to try out how far I could get without so many upgrades. I played through the game on veteran and did Crystal Lake with 3 stars on my first try with a terrible setup because I didn't knew what was awaiting me. My cousin was also complaining a lot about this level were he would play the game on veteran as I recommended to him because otherwise the game would be way too easy. I am wizard level 900 in GEMTD2 and pretty much beat and mastered at least 5 other td games. There's just bad placement choices for barracks and enough dps within range, i feel like you CANNOT do it with what you have unlocked by now, feels like you gotta at least just beat it once, earn more stars, unlock a better hero, max their level and then come back and do it.īefore you throw the git gud remarks, to which i'll ignore and won't respond to, i have earned 200k meallions in BTDB, i am rank 80 in BTD5, I have maxed out other Kingdom Rush games. Like pay out the rear for a useless tower and watch everything pass it by.

The sea dragon turning 3-4 towers offline is bad enough.īut i feel like the new mage tower is purely troll. Up until now i been getting 3 stars on the first try on normal for most of the stages.īut this one is making me Ragequit, i guess i'm just a perfectionist, but this map is ♥♥♥♥.
